When i got a new android , me and it went off to a good start but it got bad slowly.Although i've used android from Samsing Galaxy s1 to Sasmung Galaxy s4 and i've experienced the awsome friendly android OS firsthand. Android is a very usefull OS with its friendly,easy , gaming device, weby,E-readery (you get the point of my words right ? ).After using it for four five years in a row i've discovered that android is like a PC ,you have to take care of it and i've discovered 9 most important tips for the android owners.




1. Maintain It Like A Computer :-

While android can do much more than ios and an ordinary os it has certain needs of its own.It requires more power and more access to ram,harddrive,processor.Much like a pc you have to maintain your android device and tune it up by cleaning it and deleting unnecessary apps.There are several apps for this like ALL-IN-ONE Tooblox .You can do several stuff with this app like cleaning your android device or boosting it up. It cleanes your device's cache and frees up space for usage.Even without the app you can delete unwanted apps and widgets by going into settings -> apps -> running and manully end anything that takes up too much ram or uninstall applications that you dont use.

2. The Power Of Customization :-

When i first got my first android (Samsung Galaxy S1) device i was so happy to see the customizations and the tweaks i can do with it and change the whole look of the phone.I installed so many roms and android's ported firmwares just to make my device look a little different. I installed launchers,keyboards,notification bar, and many more ,the things which you cant do with IOS even in your dreams.In android you can use your homescreen for custom widgets,app icons, search bars,live wallpapers etc. You can even turn your android into an Iphone replica.

3. You Can Install D/F Roms :-

With Android your are not bound to the stock rom like the android's ios. Like me if you are a guy who gets bored of trying the same things over and over again and cant wait for another update to change the look or UI or you want to try different OS's or an update that is yet to come or a firmware of different mobile ? Well its possible,android developers make roms for your mobile that are safely ported from another device and tested. You can install them simply by odin and get a completely new user experience and a whole new look.These roms also give you new features and unlock different hidden features of your device.

4. Ensure Full Security :-

Dont do this unless you're really afraid of your phone's information being stolen. To Permenantly encrypt your android device go to settings,security,encryption,and press Encrypt Phone . You will then be asked to create a secret pin code whill you will enter every time you turn on your phone.This is like Passcode in ios but more secured and drastic.Usually it will take about an hour for your device to encrypt itself, and it can only be undone through a factory reset. Only do this if you have really important data .Encrypting your data can slow down how fast it is accessed.

5.Try Out Different Launchers :-

This is my best thing to do to try out different launchers. If you have an android device and want to try other looks without really installing another rom then you should try out launchers from the play store. They are mostly free and have incredibly beautiful looks.Launchers like Nova Launcher , Go Launcher , ADW Launcher are really famous and will turn your device into an Eye-Candy.

6. Say "Ok, Google" To Start A Search From Any Screen :-

In 2014 we are all busy 24/7 and often dont have time to search manually for things .Now you can search automatically and instantly with your voice. Just say "OK GOOGLE" and you will straight away be sent to the voice recognition search screen . To Activate voice controll from any app go to your apps page and find the google app. Touch it and you are now in google now,Scroll down untill you see the settings icon,now press that and select "voice".Then press on "OK Google Detection" and enable the "From Any Screen" setting.Now you'll be able to start a Google search from anywhere or from anyscreen on your phone by simply speaking "OK,Google".

7. Access The Developer Options :-

To Really get a sense how much customizable ,activate the "secret"developer option. Simply goto Settings --> About Phone --> Build Number --> and click on build number 7 times.Your device should tell you something like this that "you are now a developer".Now return to system settings and you should see something like "Developer Options". You can customize many features of your android device here,like animations speed,animations scale etc . There are plenty other sweet customizations too.

8. Get Non-Released Upgrade Earlier :-

With an android Device Unlike ios You can install your non released firmware i.e Firmware that is not available to you via OTA or Firmware which is not meant for your device. Now installing that is a completely whole new thing and the process is called Flashing or installing via Clock Work Mode Recovery. There are many roms and Stock firmwares availabe either ported or Made. You can taste the pure android with this method.


9. You Aren't Tied To The Google Play Store :-

Unlike IOS you arent tied to only the Appstore unless you jailbreak. In android even without rooting if you dont like the Google Play Store you can choose other alternative, There are various Stores available like Amazon App Store , Apptoid , BlackMart , 1Mobile , AppBrain and many more. You can even download paid apps free over the internet and install them on your android device from sites like PandaApp etc.
