U.S Hypersonic Weapons Destructs During its Test Flight

A new hypersonic weapon whic was developed by the U.S military exploded shortly after its test flight lift-off from an Alaskan test facility during a long awaited test flight on monday , "Pentagon Said".

Although no one was hurt in this incident which occured shortly after 4 am EDT (0800 GMT) at the Kodiak Launch Complex in Alaska said Maureen Schumann, who is a U.S Defence Department Spokesman.

"The Weapon exploded during takeoff and fell back down the range of complex".

The weapon was developed by Sandia National Laboratory and the U.S. Army, as part of the military's "Conventional Prompt Global Strike" technology development program which is trying to build a weapon that can destroy any target within an hour of its launch.

U.S Army,Navy is trying to detect the cause of the accident.
