How To Put iPhone In D-F-U Mode And How To Get Out

D-F-U meaning Device Firmware Update is a method if the restore using recovery mode does not work.When placing your iPhone into DFU Mode it does not load the OS before attempting the restore.

STEPS :-

• Connect your iphone to Your laptop and hear the beep sound
• Now Hold down the home button and the power button
• Keep holding untill you see the iphone display to blackout 
• After about some seconds of blackout you will hear a beep again (some sound) in your computer
• When hearing the beep leave the power button and keep holdint the home button
• When done your iphone will be shown connected in D-F-U mode in your itunes.
• The device will be in complete blackscreen durnig D-F-U mode.

Precautions :-

• Keep your iphone connected all the time with your pc
• Do the steps carefully
• When connected the screen will remain black always
• Keep your ears open for any sound thats the beep sound described in the above steps.

How to get out of D-F-U mode :-

• To get out of D-F-U mode do the opposite of the steps required to put iphone in D-F-U mode
• Hold both the home button and power button
• Keep holding and after some seconds leave the home button and keep holding the power button
• After a second you will see an apple logo and the phone will restart
• It will be back as nothing ever happened.

Usage of D-F-U mode :-

D-F-U mode is used for briked iphones to restore it and get completelt factory resetted iphone or firmware. When connected in D-F-U mode in iphone ,itunes will automatically show it and when you press restore it will download and install the latest apple official released firmware of you can browse the downloaded firmware by SHIFT + RESTORE  and browse the downloaded ipsw and install it.
